What We Do: Building a Drug-Free Future for Nigerian Youth

We aim to be an active support in building healthy lifestyles free from drug abuse among youth. We achieve this through established awareness and sensitization programs and projects that reach schools, community centers, and places of worship across Nigeria. Since our inception, DARCI has made a tremendous impact on families and society through our humble outreaches, delivering messages of hope, proving that recovery is possible, and facilitating reconciliation back into families and society.

Strategic Vision: DARCI for Africa 2030

Our commitment extends beyond Nigeria, envisioning a continent where every community thrives free from the burden of illicit drugs and crime. By 2030, DARCI aims to be a leading force in Africa’s drug abuse recovery and prevention efforts, contributing to a healthier, safer future for all.

Our Vision 2030 seeks to:

  • Strengthen Prevention: Significantly reduce new cases of substance abuse through widespread awareness and education across African communities.
  • Enhance Recovery Processes: Improve access to, and the effectiveness of, holistic recovery and rehabilitation programs, ensuring comprehensive support for individuals.
  • Address Organized Illicit Flows: Contribute to efforts that disrupt the networks facilitating the illegal drug trade, safeguarding our communities from their devastating impact.
  • Ensure a Balanced Response to Drugs: Advocate for and implement strategies that combine effective law enforcement with compassionate public health approaches to drug issues.
  • Improve Lifestyles and Bolster Resilience: Empower individuals and communities with the tools and resources to build drug-free lives, fostering mental, social, and economic resilience across the region.
